Ever wonder what the effects of overeating are?

We all know that overeating leads to being overweight, but there are so many other effects that we don’t normally pay attention to.  That’s why I’m so happy that I’ve joined Shrink Yourself. The lessons make you understand why you are overeating.  Then you learn how to give yourself what you need without overeating.  All this makes it easy to stop eating too much.

And the best thing is that your life gets so much better.

Shrink Yourself is great! Join Shrink Yourself and stop overeating now.

Here are some unexpected effects of overeating based on what I learned:

Relationships between friends and families may be affected because of unresolved issues (you overate instead of dealing with the problem).  The feelings of stress and resentment tend to build up, and as time passes by, your relationship with others become worse while you gain weight.

Some people tend to give up on their ambitions due to frustrations they encounter.  They eat rather than pursue their ambitions and take action to help them achieve their desires.

Feelings will not be spoken and that will build up to stress. People who overeat might think that food is the answer when they get hurt or when they encounter a problem.  Done in the right way, telling someone how you feel will make you feel better and you will be able to overcome overeating.

People tend to run away from their fears rather than face them with solutions. The more you experience fear, the more you are lured in eating.  But then your fears get worse  and they never really go away.

How about your self esteem?  As a result of overeating, you begin to neglect the most important person in your life — You.  Neglecting yourself can make you lose your self esteem and forget your many achievements in life.

Each of these effects will become a cycle in your life which will make it worse because it is a self-sustaining cycle.  You might even think that getting out of this cycle is impossible.

Emotional eating is hard and difficult to bear, but there is something you can do to escape the cycle and stop emotional eating.

If you’re tired of these effects of overeating, I recommend you try out Shrink Yourself.  They helped me - maybe they can help you too?

Stop Compulsive Overeating

January 42009

Who wants to join me and stop compulsive overeating?

My name is Jennifer. I am 38 years old, and I have been eating compulsively on and off for about 25 years.

This blog is going to be about how I stop this annoying and unhealthy habit with an online program called Shrink Yourself.

If you want to stop overeating with me, check out Shrink Yourself here.  Maybe it will help you too!

Let me tell you about myself and why I am writing this blog.

But first I’d like to thank my online friend Sara Young for allowing me to use her hosting account for my blog amd teaching me the ins and outs of blogging. Sara - you are a true friend!

Back to me.

I am quite overweight (though not obese) and I have a strong family history of diabetes. In addition all 4 of my kids where born over 9 lbs. This puts me at a high risk for diabetes. Losing weight is one thing I can do to prevent myself from getting this horrible condition (I know its pretty horrible cause I saw what it did to my mother and grandfather). The other think is exercise, but I’m going to focus on how I stop my compulsive overeating in this blog.

I started overeating as a kid. I think it was a way to rebel against overstrict parents. But I am an adult now and I still can’t lose the habit. This year I am determined to take control of my life and lose lots of weight.  This blog will document my progress.

I’ve been trying to stop compulsive overeating on my own for a long time, and was never successful for more than a short time.

I know that I overeat for emotional reasons, because I eat when I am upset, depressed, stressed out, or just have a need to think something over (I think while I eat).

Diets have always failed for me because as soon as I start thinking about a diet, I get stressed out and look for food. In fact, I often gain weight if I try diet.

The answer has to be in being aware of when I am about to stat the compulsive eating, figuring out why it is that I need to eat, and then finding an alternative.

So I need a way to do this.

After searching online for quite a while, I’ve found the Shrink Yourself program and it seems to fit my needs in the best way possible.

The reason that I chose this over other online programs is that they go beyond dieting and preaching. They actually help you determine the causes of your compulsive eating and then teach you how to find solutions. Exactly what I need!

The program includes systematic sessions that guide you towards freedom from overeating. They also have a support forum, and maybe more stuff.

Check it out and see what I mean.

Lets see if it will work for me.  Lets see if I can stop compulsive overeating.

Please leave me comments of support. I think I’m going to need it!
